Hearts to block Nzemaba exit

Published on: 25 May 2012

Hearts of Oak are keen to hold onto defender Samuel Nzemaba who is on the radar of fellow Ghana Premier League side SC Medeama.

The defender's contract with the Phobians expires at the end of the season and reports from Tarkwa say Medeama have been in contact with the former Asante Kotoko player.

However, Hearts coach CK Akunnor is impressed with Nzemaba's experience and discipline and has requested the club retain his services.

Nzemaba has been avoiding direct talks with officials of Hearts about his future.

"It is true that my contract with the Phobians has expired but I have a good offer. I will let out at the right time," he said.
