Hearts to play Tema Youth in friendly

Published on: 06 February 2013

Accra Hearts of Oak will play fellow Ghanaian Premier League side Tema Youth in a warm-up game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Hearts coach David Duncan wants to use the game to test his side's battle-readiness for the second round of the Ghanaian top flight.

New signings Emmanuel Osei, Obed Ansah, James Bissue, Yakubu Musah and Owusu Bempah will be put to full test with the strength of a top flight side.

The Phobians mauled an Accra Select side 8-1 last week and were also at their ruthless best when they thrashed third-tier side Apex FC 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts will  open their second-half of the season with a home tie with Kumasi-based King Faisal on February 24 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
