Liberty Professionals' talented youngster could be on his way to Hearts of Oak as the Phobians are growing their interest in him.

The 19-year-old is cast in the mould of Real Madrid's Marcelo and can use both feet.

Hearts are set to offload three defenders including full-back Seth Owusu and head coach David Duncan has recommended the diminutive ball-holding defender to the club's management as replacement.

Hearts would not waste time to convince Liberty to allow the talented youngster to join the 20-time Ghanaian champions.

A number of agents who watched Boahene last season are also flocking in with trial offers.

However, Liberty would prefer an outright sale or farm out him out to an European side but if that does not happen, they would consider selling him to Hearts.

Defender Owusu Bempah who joined Hearts from New Edubiase last season has developed well and Duncan believes Boahene would form a solid partnership in alternating roles with Emmanuel Ansong.
