Hearts to start residential pre-season on Sunday

Hearts of Oak will begin residential camping ahead of the new Premier League season on Sunday, GHANAsoccernet.com is reliably informed.

The Phobians have postponed their residential camping date in Sekondi twice for a variety of reasons.

A club source however disclosed to GHANAsoccernet.com the team will leave Accra on Sunday to step up their preparations.

“The team is expected to converge at the club Secretariate tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am for the trip to Sekondi,” the source told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The residential camp is to afford coach CK Akunnor to closely monitor his players especially the new acquisitions.

The club aims to wrestle back the Premier League trophy they last won in 2009 from rivals Asante Kotoko this term.
