German Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin are eyeing a summer move to sign Ghana hopeful Karim Bellarabi on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.

Hertha have been on the tail of the 23-year-old since the beginning of last season but they failed to capture him as he joined newly-promoted Eintracht Braunshweig where he has been overly impressive.

Hertha scouts where at the Eintracht-Stadion on Saturday when the attacker dazzled in Braunshweig's 4-2 hammering of Hamburg SV.

According to reports in Germany, Hertha have already began talks with Leverkusen to secure the signature of the half-Ghanaian on loan.

Bellarabi is contracted to Leverkusen until 2015 and will return to Leverkusen at the end of the current season.

Ghana reportedly made attempts to convince the attacker to switch his nationality to play for the West African giants.
