Hugely-talented Anderlecht defender Emmanuel Sowah Adjei has been tipped to earn a deserved call-up into the Black Stars ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt next month.

Adjei, 18, has emerged on the blocks of the Belgian giants quickly, making four senior appearances this season.

The former Dreams FC right-back is weaving magic in Belgium where he has earned rave reviews for his startling performances for Anderlecht.

He could serve as competition for Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful who has enjoyed monopoly as well as German-based Phil Ofosu-Ayeh.

According to multiple reports in Ghana, coach Avram Grant has been impressed with the quality of the youngster and could hand him a dream call-up into the team ahead of the qualifier against the Pharaohs on November 13.

The talented right-back boasts exceptional defensive qualities with solid anticipation, tackling technique and positional awareness. ,

The youngster reads the game well, making vital interceptions as opponents transition into the final third.

The Ghanaian provides good delivery from the flank and shows good composure on the ball and has shown he is a solid, well-balanced right-back and would be a great addition to revive competition in the team.

Grant is eager to assemble his best arsenals ahead of the must-win game against the seven-time African champions at the 86,000 seater Borg El Arab stadium in Alexandria.
