Rumour: Goalkeeper Adams in Ghana's 30-man World Cup squad, Kingson axed

Stephen Adams, middle, has been selected along with Kwarasey, Fatau and Daniel Agyei

Aduana Stars shot-stopper Stephen Adams is in a provisional 30-man squad drafted by Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah for the 2014 FIFA World Cup but the experienced Richard Kingson has been left out, rumours circling Ghana football circles claim.

According to the rumour, the Ghana head coach has overlooked the Turkish-based glovesman to favour Adams who excelled at the 2014 CHAN Championship in South Africa.

Kingson has been trying to work his way back to the Ghana squad thus leaving from Cypriot side Doxa to join Turkish second-tier side Balikesirspor but his effort has not proven good enough to impress the Ghana coach.

Stromsgodset captain Adam Kwarasey's display against Montenegro in the international friendly earlier this month has installed confidence around him and has been picked along with recent first-choice Fatau Dauda.

Despite being inactive in the South African PSL with Orlando Pirates, Kwesi Appiah has settled on the 28-year-old together with Free State Stars' Daniel Agyei to complete a quartet for the provisional squad.

But one of the keepers will be dropped as there are only three slots available.

Thanks for your Honesty.* The only person that can eridicate or erase nepotism and favouritism from my mouth is kwesi appiah by calling the right players. Ability without mentality is Babarism.

Bro benito thanks for your honestly.anybody who knows me on this website knows that i criticise constructively. Benito there is a lot of nepotism and favouritism going on in the stars and im not the only guy aware of it. Many forumites use these two words because we all know how corrupt some of the fa officials are. Look at the blackstars goalkeeper's trainer nassam yakubu who granted an interview by saying "Fatau Dauda, eventhough he is inactive has already sealed his spot in the team". Benito by hearing this kind of unproffesional interview why wont i say that nepotism and favouritism is going on? I realy understands these two words very much thats why im using them. No offence bro benito.its all love.

Kwarasey is now talking and getting pissed off when he concedes a goal which is a good sign!! He is now showing off his feelings to our defenders that u guys should have done better in this situation which means that he can now organized our defence!! He now understand his duties! I saw a different kwarasey against turkey in istanbul and he should keep it up!!

Gsn who told you Kwaresey lacks confidence and his display against montenegro has restored his confidence. You people are as prejudice against Kwaresey as that AA and his useless technical bench. Who said that bench warming expert in an insignificant league is out numbet one? This is blasphemy. It's only clueless coach like AA who would include Dauda in his squad. After countless trips on attachments, AA has learnt nothing. Always a student. I wonder when AA will graduate. Very disappointed for supporting him in the beginning.
