Sunyani-based Porsche Chersville Hotel has filed a writ against the Ghana League Clubs Association for unpaid pay bills incurred during the G8 tournament, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The amount running to GH¢ 5,400 includes the hotel accommodation and other facilities used by the organizers during their stay.

It will be recalled that the Group A matches were played in Sunyani including the first semi-final match.

Hotel owner and businessman, Chester Owusu, claims he finding it difficult retrieving the amount.

He told GHANAsoccernet: "Can you believe that up till now I cannot reach any of the organizers to have a concrete discussion as to how to get my money back because each of them keep on directing me to the other."

"It was Blue Boy (Kofi Manu) who came to personally discuss with me about the hotel but when I called him requesting for my money.

"He even insulted me several times on phone which means they are not ready to pay me a penny of then GH¢ 54,00.

"Now I have talked to my lawyers and we have filed the suit so they (GHALCA) will hear from us soon because I don't work this way.

"Whether GHALCA or what I need to pay my workers and that is all I need."

When contacted, Kofi Manu admitted owing the hotelier but explained that unpaid sponsorship monies have crippled the body.

Clubs, who played in the inaugural edition of the pre-season G8 tournament, are yet to be paid participating fee arrears.
