As many as eight Ghanaian players got on target abroad over the weekend for their clubs abroad.

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan, Gershon Koffie and Dominic Oduro all scored abroad.

ENGLAND Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong came off the bench in the 65th minute to replace Greek international Giorgios Karagounis for Fulham as they held Sunderland to a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light.

In the second-tier league of English football, Prince Buaben was left with the Watford second team as they managed a 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Youngster Akwasi Asante was left with the Birmingham City second team as they suffered heavy 5-2 defeat at Hull City.

Ghana winger Albert Adomah came off the bench after 83 minutes to help Bristol City squeeze out a valuable away point against Paul Ince's Blackpool.
