How to watch Manchester United vs Tottenham with TV and live stream details

After a sequence of unsteady performances, Erik ten Hag will be determined to show his mettle once again in Wednesday’s Old Trafford clash with Tottenham.

United are unbeaten in four and have earned three wins but displays against Omonia and Newcastle have left much to be desired. That said, United still sit fifth in the Premier League table although are now three points from fourth-place Chelsea, who they face on Saturday.

But first is the visit of Tottenham, who have won their last three matches and have kept a trio of clean sheets in their latest four matches. They have been dealt a blow ahead of this week’s clash after Richarlison was ruled out with an ankle injury he picked against Everton.

A win over Spurs and a sizeable margin of victory over Chelsea could see United jump into the top four for the first time under Erik ten Hag. The Reds have already beaten Arsenal and Liverpool at home this season and will feel they can earn a result against Tottenham too.

The game will kick off at the unusual time of 8.15pm, slightly later than a usual midweek fixture would, due to the broadcaster's discretion.

Viewers can watch the game on their apps, laptops or smart TVs. Build-up will start from 6.30pm when former United defender Patrice Evra will be joined by Roberto Martinez and Thierry Henry - Belgium national team head coach and assistant, respectively - on punditry duty. Alan Shearer will be on co-commentary.

And as always, t he Manchester Evening News will bring you live updates from Old Trafford during our live matchday blog.

Anthony Martial is expected to return to the United line-up after suffering a back injury against Everton - his third setback of the season already. Meanwhile, Christian Eriksen may also start after missing Sunday’s stalemate with Newcastle due to illness.

Harry Maguire is still unavailable due to a knee injury with Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka both long-term absentees. Tottenham have another injury concern besides Richarlison.

Dejan Kulusevski sat out the 2-0 win over Everton with a muscular issue and is a doubt for the trip to United. However, Lucas Moura is available once more after recovering from a tendon issue to enjoy a cameo against the Toffees.
