Hasaacas players have refused to turn up for pre-season training in protest over unpaid monies owed them.

They are owed monies running into several months and have resolved no to turn up for training until all arrears are cleared.

The players are owned for months’ salary and eight match winning bonuses from last season.

The current economic turmoil in the African country has taken a toll on a number of Premier League clubs as they are struggling for pay outstanding cash owed players and officials.

This week, Hearts cleared all outstanding monies owed players ahead of the start of the new season.
