I have never taken bribes from players- Duncan

Former AshantiGold coach David Duncan insists he has never taken bribes from players.

Coaches are often accused of receiving illegal payments known as bungs from agents or players before signing them or handing them playing time.

Duncan-who sees himself as a devout Christian- has distanced himself from such practices.

"I have never taken kick backs in my life as a coach; God is my witness. You can ask all the players I have worked with, and they will attest to that," the tough-talking Duncan said.

"I didn't take a cent from Jonathan Mensah and David Telfer's move to Free State Stars in South Africa."

Duncan has been out of club coaching since he parted ways with AshantiGold in January last year.

He was in-charge of the Ghana Under-23 team who were knocked out from the London 2012 Olympic Games qualifiers by Sudan.
