The Chief executive Officer of Aduana Stars Albert Yaya Commey has confessed that the home fans of Aduana Stars barred him from watching matches involving Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics during the just ended First Capital Plus Premier League.

According to the CEO of the 2010 champions, most of the fans of Aduana Stars felt he could sympathize with the Accra based clubs because of his previous association with Accra Hearts of Oak.

"I only listened to commentary when Aduana Stars played Accra Hearts of Oak and Olympics here in Dormaa. I was prevented from watching the game by my supporters because they felt I would have a soft heart for those clubs because I have worked for Hearts of Oak before," Albert Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"Before the Hearts game, the fans came to me and pleaded that because I was a former Hearts communications manager, they do not want me to come to the field. I respected them and stayed home. I respected their demand and the same thing happened in the game against Olympics."

"Sometimes you need to respect the fans by doing what they want for them. I did it and  we drew in both games. That tells you how far some fans can go at some points in time," he concluded.
