The future of Inter forward Mauro Icardi could be away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza if the Nerazzurri fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.

Since the winter break, Il Biscione have won just two games in Serie A, and as a result their chances of qualifying for Europe’s premier competition look uncertain.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Icardi has and still interests the likes of Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal and possibly Manchester City, should the Citizens’ next coach, Pep Guardiola, desire the Argentine.

Last season Icardi was Serie A’s Capocannoniere with 22 goals to his name in 33 league starts, form which earned him his first cap for Argentina against Uruguay.

This season the former Sampdoria forward has somewhat disappointed scoring just 10 in 20 league starts.
