WAFA coach John Killa is delighted with how his side played with maturity to dispatch Inter Allies for their seasonââ¬â¢s first away win.
The Academicians adopted a swampy approach and neutralized their hosts Inter Allies with a 1-0 win.
It was the first win on the road in seven attempts ( three draws, three defeats) and that catapulted them to second on the league table ahead of Sundayââ¬â¢s round of matches.
Killa raved about the conviction with which his dispatched Allies to end their 14-match unbeaten home record.
ââ¬ÅI told you we came here for the win and when you win your are very happy. We worked very hard and I am double happy for our first away match of the season,â⬠the Dutchman said.
WAFA are one of the three promoted sides to the Ghana Premier League this season.
