Hearts of Oak captain Inusah Musah has declared his desire to remain at the club for a longer period but only if they can meet his demand.

Reports went widespread on Monday that the defensive stalwart is heading to the exit after refusing to extend his contract with the club.

Inusah, who has not featured for the Rainbow Club since their 1-0 win over sworn adversaries Asante Kotoko, is reported to have turned down the contract proposal by the club - which he deemed as meagre.

However, the 24-year-old has indicated that he is ever ready to re-join his colleagues in camp should the club's management meet his demands.

"We are still in talks for a possible contract extension, I hope we can agree on something because I love the club and want to help," Inusah told Oyerepa FM.

"The situation now is the offer they have put before me, it's not enough and I have told them to do something about it."

"The ball is now in their court; we are on it and hope all works out."

"I have not said it anywhere that I won't play again for Hearts; my contract has ended and am looking forward to agreeing a deal with them."

Inusah's last season defensive partner Vincent Atinga, captain Thomas Abbey and Leornard Tawiah left the club under similar circumstances.
