Real Sociedad parted company with first-team coach Eusebio Sacristán on Sunday, and promoted Imanol Alguacil to take the helm for the remaining nine games this season in LaLiga Santander.
La Real lie 15th in the standings after a 2-1 home defeat to Getafe CF on Saturday. After the two week break for internationals, Alguacil’s first game in chrage will be against Basque neighbours SD Eibar on Sunday April 1.
