Heart of Lions kept their title ambitions in line with a 3-2 away win over All Stars in Wa in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Yussif Abubakar's men are now three points within the reach of second-placed Hearts of Oak while they trail leaders Kotoko by nine points.

It was an excellent display of artistry from both sides with few officiating glitches which threatened the beauty of the game.

Paul Asamoah powered the host into the lead early in the first-half but an unknown Kodjo  Halosovi pecked the scoring for the Giant Killers to trim the ambitions of the host before expectant home fans.

After a pulsating stalemate from the opening 45 minutes, former Ghana striker Sam Yeboah underlined his personal and club form by scoring a master-class finish from the edge of the box.

All Stars' attempt to restore parity failed with the visitors defensive fortress seeming impermeable.

Halosovi grabbed his first brace of the season to nail the game though Emmanuel Gyamfi scored a consolation to cut the deficit to 3-2.

After proceedings ended, All Stars fans and officials protested a disallowed penalty and sending off of one of their players during the second half.
