Ghana youth midfielder Thomas Partey got on the scoresheet for Real Mallorca in the 2-0 victory over Tenerife in the Spanish Segunda Division on Sunday evening.

The 20-year-old rifled a fierce low volley to the bottom right corner in the 70th minute to seal victory for an under-performing Mallorca side at the Iberostar Estadi in a cross-town rivalry.

Partey picked a loose ball just outside of the area and hammered it beyond the reach of Roberto Gutiérrez to net his second goal in one week.

The Atletico Madrid loanee had scored an-important goal against Real Zaragoza in a 1-1 draw and he summed up his impressive form by scoring against this weekend.

"It was great to score again and most importantly when we get all the three points it becomes very vital for me and the team," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Partey is on loan at Mallorca until the end of the season from Atletico Madrid.
