Andre Ayew is likely to leave Swansea City this summer for a bigger club after declaring his interest to join a club that will play in the UEFA champions League.

The 26-year-old joined Swansea City in the summer and has as emerged the clubs highest goal scorer with 12 goals and two assists in the just ended English League season.

Ayew’s signing was golden for Swansea given he arrived on a free transfer after 11 years in France.

The Ghanaian’s shear guts and determination in games has seen his stock rise with top team in England and Europe circling for his signature.

Sunderland have declared their interest in the player with Big Sam Allardyce willing to make him his first signing of the summer.

But the Ghanaian has confirmed he will only leave for club playing in the champion’s league.

"Whether in the 'Big Four' or in a European club, I have the ambition to again play in the European Cup every year like I have experienced with OM,” he said.

"I want to continue to play. I am aware of my qualities, but I do not regret my choice of Swansea.

"We'll see if I stay here next season."
