Hearts striker Gilbert Fiamenyo admits he’s playing at just half his fitness peak.
The bulky striker, who is displaying some fine form with seven goals in all competitions for the side this season, is playing through the pain barrier.
Fiamenyo scored and provided an assist for the former African champions as they came from behind to beat Senegalese side Olympique Ngor in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The former Heart of Lions man admits he’s not operating at full strength.
“I am not fully fit. I am half-fit,†he told Asempa FM
“Let’s work hard ahead of the return fixture of our game against the Senegalese.
“We thank the fans for their support and wish to assure them we’ll do our best to qualify to the next stage.â€
