In-form Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams says he’s waiting patiently for earn a call-up into the Black Stars.

The strong centre-back has been a real steel in defense for the Porcupine Warriors with an individual brilliance this term.

The former Berekum Chelsea defender says he’s in no rush to earn a national team call-up.

It is every player's wish to play for his country's national team and certainly I am not an exception", he told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM

"I would not want to rush into getting into the Black Stars now. I know it would take some time to get there so I am keeping my focus on training hard and keeping up my levels of performances.

"I am just bidding my time and would jump on to any opportunity that would be opened to me to play for my country.

Adams was voted Kotoko’s Player of the Month for July.
