All Stars striker Godfred Kwame Gyasi has been transferred to Accra for treatment after breaking his leg during a friendly match on Wednesday.

The experienced attacker completely broke the leg during a friendly against second-tier BA United at the Wa Park following an innocuous challenge with an opponent.

He has since been transferred to the 37 Military hospital in Accra where has been admitted for further diagnosis on the extent of injury.

It is feared he could be ruled out of action for close to two years to fully recover.

He was on the verge of earning a contract extension at the club until the unfortunate incident.

All Stars will battle Medeama at home on Sunday in the final round of matches in the Ghana Premier League.
