Injured Crystal Palace forward Kwesi Appiah shows appreciation to Ghana players for "get well soon message"

Injured Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah has expressed his appreciation to the Black Stars for their “get well soon message” duration their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius last Sunday.

The Crystal Palace forward is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a ligament injury in training ahead of the qualifier.

His teammates celebrated their opener from Christian Atsu in the 7-1 by displaying a T-shirt with the inscription: Get well Kwesi Appiah”

Appiah responded to their guesture by posting on his Twitter account: “Amazing victory! Thanks to my @ghanafaofficial team mates for the get well soon message I appreciate all the support #BlackStars #WeAreOne????????. “
