Ghana striker David Accam missed Helsingborg’s 6-2 defeat to IFK Gothenburg in the Swedish League match on Sunday due to injury.
The 23-year-old picked up an injury in training and after colliding with a player in training on Saturday.
Accam could not pass a late fitness test and was left out of the team by Roar Hansen.
The former Right to Dream Academy scored 7 league goals in 10 appearances before the break.
He was named in Ghana’s preliminary 2014 FIFA World Cup squad but could not make the cut to play in the tournament in Brazil.
