Injured FC Europa right back Ibrahim Ayew is hoping that returns ahead of schedule to aid the team after being ruled out for four weeks.

The 29-year-old picked up a hamstring injury in the game against Red Lincoln and scans have revealed he will need a maximum of 30 days to recover.

Rahim who is the eldest son of Ghana football legend Abedi Pele is in his second season at FC Europa and helped them to the league and Cup triumph last season.

Having moved back to Europa after an extended period playing for Zamalek and Asante Kotoko in Africa, Rahim has endeared himself to the fans of FC Europa and even turned down a summer move to Argentina.

FC Europa are 3rd on the league table with 23 points after 11 games played so far.
