Ghana winger Solomon Asante rejoined his TP Mazembe team mates after he sat out their 3-1 victory over Ghana’s dream team in Accra.
The diminutive yet exciting winger lasted only 23 minutes as Ghana posted a 2-0 victory over minnows Comoros to advance to the next stage of the 2018 world cup qualifiers.
The 25-year-old picked up a thigh problem in the game and was replaced by Jeffrey Schlupp who eventually became a man of the match in the game.
Asante has however boosted Patrice Carteron's side by returning to light training ahead of their game against Bantous in the Congolese league.
The former Berekum Chelsea man has been linked with the move away from the Lubumbashi based club especially now that he played a key role in their 5th CAF Champions League triumph.
