Ghana will have to make-do without injured star Andre Ayew for their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mozambique next week.
The Black Stars deputy captain is ruled out of the double-header because of an ankle injury he suffered while playing for Swansea City.
He has subsequently arrived in France to start treatment and has been ruled out for two weeks.
Ayew has had an impressive season with Swans in the English Premier League where he has scored eight goals and provided several assists.
His unavailability is not expected to weaken the Black Stars who top the Group H table with maximum points after wins over Mauritius and Rwanda.
