Inter Allies coach Jimmy Cobblah refuses to give up survival bid

Inter Allies coach Jimmy Cobblah is refusing to give up on their survival bid despite his side's precarious position on the league table.

The Tema-based side has endured a difficult spell this season as they lie 15th on the log.

Allies appear condemn for the country's second-tier league next season with just four games left to spare.

But coach Jimmy Cobblah is refusing to press the panic button.

“Why are people saying that. So far as we are concerned, it is the Ghana Football Association and the Premier League Board who can announce the winners and the relegated teams," he said

"Yes we are in the relegation zone, but not relegated and we have 4 more matches to go and anything can happen so until that time, we all have to wait."

Allies must get good results against New Edubiase, Dreams FC, Liberty Professionals and Aduana Stars in their last four games to stand any slim chance of avoiding relegation.
