Deputy coach of Inter Allies Wilson Asare has set his sights on returning to winning ways in their week 13 clash with Elmina Sharks following their disappointing defeat to Liberty Professionals in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 on Saturday.

Inter Allies dominated the game against the Scientific Soccer lads but failed to convert any of the chances that came their way before eventually losing the tie 4-2 in the penalty shootout.

Ahead of the club’s midweek clash with Elmina Sharks, stand-in coach Wilson Asare has urged his charges to step up their game to pick maximum points on Wednesday.

“We are going to Elmina Sharks and our away matches have always been tough but we want to go and improve on what we did in our last game against Liberty Professionals and make sure we comeback home with the three points,” he told reporters.

“I know it is not going to be easy but we’re going there with determination and focus. We need to play and score because if we play all the beautiful in the world and come home empty handed, then what’s the essence.”

Inter Allies have garnered 14 points from 12 games and are occupying 12th position of the Ghana Premier League.
