Technical director of Inter Allies Willie Klutse has disclosed that they are close to appointing Yaw Preko as deputy coach ahead of the coming campaign.

The La-based outfit handed the reins of the team to Japanese tactician Kenichi Yatsuhashi last month after the club failed to convince Karim Zito to continue his exploits with the side after steering them to safety in the Ghana Premier League.

During an interview with Happy FM, Klutse confirmed that they are on the verge of appointing Yaw Preko to assist Yatsuhashi ahead of the forthcoming season.

"We are on the verge of signing Yaw Preko to assist Kenechi." Willie Klutse revealed on Happy FM's Wamputu Sports.

The pair worked at Accra Hearts of Oak and Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah before parting ways.
