Inter Allies marksman Isaac Osae is optimistic that coach Karim Zito can help the club retain its Ghana Premier League status.

Zito was appointed as an interim trainer after the dismissal of Prince Owusu to help retain their league status.

The former Dreams FC gaffer started his reign on a sour note as they were defeated 3-1 at Ebusua Dwarfs before recording his maiden win last Sunday against Medeama at home.

The La-based side are just two points above the drop zone with two games left to play.

However, Osae is feeling buoyant that Zito is right man to help to retain their status come the end of the season.

"Things are getting better now, we have a skilled coach in the person of Karim Zito who is handling us, he has coached almost all the top teams in Ghana and with his huge experienced, such situations is not new to him. I have every believe that that he will steer us out of the drop zone," Osae told Graphic Sports.

"Gradually we are getting back on track, we take every game serious because it might be our last chance for survival. Coach Zito always encourages us and advise us before each game and it is really helping our course. Now morale is very high."

Inter Allies will host fellow relegation threatened side Liberty Professionals at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Match Day 29.
