Inter are preparing to submit a bid for Fiorentina starlet Federico Bernardeschi as they look to sign their first new striker of the season.

The Nerazzurri are on the lookout to strengthen their offensive line-up and the Viola youngster is believed to be a perfect addition to coach Roberto Mancini’s current squad.

According to Tgcom, Inter have put forward an offer in the region of €25 million, in addition to bonuses, for the talented 22-year-old Italian.

However, Fiorentina are believed to be adamant that the player will not leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi during the summer transfer window, since he is considered to be part of the club’s future.

Bernardeschi has already appeared five times for the Italian international side, and was also named in Antonio Conte’s Euro 2016 squad, albeit actually setting foot on the pitch just once.

During his last season with Fiorentina, Bernardeschi accumulated 33 Serie A appearances, scoring two goals and delivering six assists.
