Inter Milan want to swap their influential midfielder Wesley Sneijder with AC Milan’s Kevin Prince-Boateng.

According to reports in Italy, Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni sees the retired Ghana international as the man to reinvigorate his side's midfield.

Dutchman Sneijder is still contracted to the Nerazzuri till 2015 but officials are hoping to tempt Milan into letting Boateng leave.

Boateng, 25, has failed to sparkle for the Rossenori this term where he is yet to score, making him fall out-of-favour with the club's supporters.
