Inter midfielder Assane Gnoukouri looks set to be on the move to Genoa, with the deal reportedly all but confirmed.
The Grifone currently find themselves just five points above the relegation zone and are looking to reinforce their squad for a a relegation scrap in the second-half of the season.
According to Il Secolo XIX, the deal is an initial loan, which gives the Rossoblu the option to make the signing permeant should they like the performances of Gnoukouri.
Furthermore, it’s thought the Nerazzurri have already signed off on the deal and the player is also willing to move to Liguria to increase his chances of first-team football.
The only thing believed to be holding the deal up, is the sale of Genoa midfielder Tino Costa to Fiorentina, which is yet to be completed.
