Interim Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink admits Baba Rahman must be more ruthless

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has advised young left back Baba Rahman to add an aggressive edge to his game after his side’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.

The left back was making his 11th league appearance for the Blues since arriving from Augsburg and looked impressive going forward and less so defensively.

That has been the sort of the season for the youngster with his attacking instinct a delight to watch while questions remain about his defensive department.

Guus Hiddink who will be handing over this Chelsea team to Antonio Conte and has advised the youngster to be more aggressive to succeed in England.

“Baba is too quiet but skillful. To survive in EPL, he must be defensively dominant and less nice." Yup, he needs be more ruthless!,” he said after the game.

The 21-year-old has however improved from a shaky start to the season to improve drastically in all department.
