According to multiple reports in Spain Kevin Prince Boateng says "irreversible" personal reason is why he is leaving Las Palmas.

The German-born Ghana international is set to appear for a press conference to explain the motive for departure and take the opportunity to say good bye to the club and his team mates.

Boateng leaves Las Palmas at a point where he is the clubs most valuable player after only recently agreeing a three year contract extension.

Having arrived with a wretched knee and dented reputation, a well rehearsed training schedule and constant care has seen him rediscover his form and improved his attitude- which helped him to 10 league goals last season.

Only three months ago he agreed a three year contract extension though it did not come with a pay raise.

This summer’s transfer window has been over the top and the Ghanaian could make some good money if he manages to get off the hooks for free at Las Palmas.
