Genoa coach Davide Balladini has included Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie in the squad that will face Inter Turku in a friendly game on Wednesday
Cofie was linked with a move to Turkish sides Osmalinspor and Antalyaspor during the January transfer window but the move fell through at the last moment after Genoa failed to find replacement for him.
However, the former Chievo Verona enforcer has been battling to churn out playing minutes after making a cameo appearance for the side in their 1-0 win over Benevento Calcio last year December.
The 26-year-old's inclusion in the squad to face the Finnish side suggests he is back in the plans of Coach Davide Balladini ahead of their Sunday's trip to Napoli in the Serie A.
Genoa are sitting 13th on the Italian Serie A league log with 40 points after 27 round of matches.
