Ishmael Yartey targets second Ligue 1 win for Sochaux

Ghana winger Ishmael Yartey believes his French Ligue 1 side FC Sochaux would record their second win of the campaign in Saturday's tie against Troyes.

Les Lionceaux bagged their first points of the season in last Saturday's shocking victory over Saint Etienne at their own backyard.

Eric Hely's side welcome bottom-placed Troyes to the Stade Auguste-Bonal and they must scrap all three points to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.

Yartey who came off the bench to inspire to the Montbéliard-based side to the victory at St Etienne believes his side have gathered the right momentum to coast to victory.

"The team has some new spirit now after the victory at St Etienne. We believe we can win and the entire team remain more determined." He said.

The former Ghana U17 star lauds the influence of the Malian international Kalilou Traoré.

"He's a real quality midfielder and he has the experience and possesses some real good qualities so he can help us get there." He added.

The former FC Servette talisman has featured in four of Sochaux's opening five games of the campaign.
