Ismaily Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene wants to score against Zamalek in Monday’s Egyptian blockbuster clash.

The 26-year-old bagged a sensational brace for Ismaily in their 3-1 win over Smouha on Thursday and will be seeking for a repeat of that fine individual performance.

The former Heart of Lions man admits the enormity of the task but confident he can rake in the needed goals against the Cairo giants.

“The game with Smouha was tough but the next clash with Zamalek is going to be much more difficult and we expects a stiff opposition” he is quoted by footballmadeinghana

“It’s a game I will really love to score, so I’m training hard to keep my form for that game.

“I also need to recognize that there will be stiff opposition from the defenders so I have to keep up my clinical pace and finish.”

He added: “I need to score more goals. It is not easy but as a forward that is what I’ve been basically tasked to do. We can come out with a positive result against Zamalek and I pray we also have a good day as well as fair officiating.”

Banahene has netted 9 times this season.
