Ghana forward Kevin Prince Boateng has expressed his delight after recovering from injury in time for Eintracht Frankfurt's game against Hamburg on Saturday.

Boateng has been sidelined since suffering an injury in the Eagles 1-0 DFB Pokal win over Schalke 04 month.

The 31-year-old consequently missed the side's defeat against Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich but has returned to training and raring to play a part in their upcoming fixtures against SV Hamburg and Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal final.

"It feels great to be back and I’m very happy. I’m not worried about anything out on the pitch and I have no problems, so I’m 100 per cent again," Boateng told his club's official website.

"We've had some very intensive sessions this week and we’ve been giving absolutely everything in training.

"That's what's been lacking a bit in our last few games. We didn't play to our limit and we can't allow ourselves to do that here at Eintracht Frankfurt.

"If we ease off, we concede more goals and lose more matches."

Frankfurt, who sit seventh on the league table, have three games in all to end the season.

He added, "We just need to be more aggressive again," said Boateng.

"Our strength used to be that nobody wanted to play against us because we were so tough.

"We want to show that to our fans again on Saturday [against Hamburg].
