Italian giants Inter Milan have not abandoned the idea of signing Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah when the transfer window opens in January.

According to a report in the Italian media, the Nerazzurri will make another attempt at signing the midfielder from their Serie A rival Bologna after an initial failed attempt.

The Ghanaian midfielder has continually performed to a high standard this season for Bologna which has sparked the continued interest in the powerful enforcer.

Donsoah is being closely watched by Nerazzurri management, in particular Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and Technical Coordintator Walter Sabatini.

Inter’s mercato duo are fascinated by the 21-year-old’s physicality and technical ability.

Donsah was watched in Bologna’s victory over Hellas Verona last weekend and will again be watched this weekend when the Rossoblu play host to Marco Giampaolo’s sixth placed Sampdoria.

Donsah has made eleven appearances for Roberto Donadoni’s side this season in Serie A and managed to find the net on two occasions as well as assisting once.

He recently made his full debut for the Ghanaian national team and is under contract at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara through to 2020.

It has been reported recently however that the Bologna hierarchy are looking to sign him to a new deal in a bid to fend off interest.
