Italy-based goalkeeper Karim Mumuni believes he has the qualities to become Ghana's first choice in future.

The lanky 18-year-old was a member of the Ghana Under-20 contingent that played against Italy's Under-19 side last September.

Mumuni, who has been bidding his time with Italian lower division side Coriano, is confident he will mature into a great gloves man.

"I have been training very hard here. My coaches always tell me that I have a very great potential and I am working hard on it," the Sunyani-born told Ghanasoccernet.com

"In future, I will claim the first choice goalkeeping role at the Black Stars. All I am doing now is working hard that is the most important thing."

Mumuni could be invited as one of the three goalkeepers for the next Ghana Under-20 team.
