Italy coach Giampiero Ventura admits Porto fullback Alex Telles is on his radar.
Telles had an ill-fated spell in Italy with Inter Milan, but is returning to his best with Porto this season.
While Brazilian, Telles also qualifies for Italy and Ventura admits he's watching the defender's progress.
"Should he be eligible for Italy I will take him. We've been following him for some time like other players with an Italian passport," Ventura told Record.
"I will observe him also in the Champions League match between Porto and Juventus and i will go to see live the second leg, even if my presence will be normal given the many Italians with Juve."
