Ivan Rakitic is set to stay with Barcelona.
The Croatia midfielder has been in new contract talks with Barca since the New Year.
Sport says Rakitic is now on the brink of putting pen to paper on a new contract.
"The president and my representative, Arturo Canales, are in conversation to find a satisfactory agreement. My dream is to stay here forever," he said recently.
"I trust my representative and the president."
