Midfielders Jackson Owusu and Eric Donkor were Asante Kotoko’s most used players in last season’s Ghana Premier League with 26 appearances.
Owusu, who joined the Porcupines from Berekum Chelsea this season, missed three matches in the first round and one in the second round.
His debut was the 2-2 draw against Sekondi Hasaacas at home and he missed the first match of the season away Aduana Stars; Kotoko-Inter Allies; Kotoko-Edubiase and Kotoko-Berekum Chelsea, which the Berekum club thrashed Kotoko 3-0.
For Donkor, all the matches he missed were in the first round.
Kotoko registered 28 players last season where they failed to defend the title.
