Strikers James Bissue and Samad Oppong have been training with Asante Kotoko to spark talks of their official signing by the club.
The Ghanaian champions are looking to fortify their squad with some new players with some level of experience especially with another campaign in the CAF Champions League to come.
Bissue is currently a free agent after completing his short-term contract with Sekondi Eleven Wise.
The 23-year-old is still waiting to realize his full potential having played for Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
A return to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in 2012 also did very little in shooting Bissue back to the top of his game.
He now hopes to do so with Kotoko but must first convince of his quality in pre-season training with the Ghanaian champions.
Samad Oppong on the other hand is looking to stage a return to the club he left in 2011.
His last stint abroad was with Cypriot club Ethnikos Achna.
