Wa All Stars new head coach James Corbblah will officially start work on 01 January 2014, the club have confirmed.

Corbblah takes over from Nurudeen Amadu who has parted ways with the Wa-based club.

Former Danbort FC coach must improve the club’s 10th position chalked after the first round of matches.

"We are delighted to have brought in someone with Premier League experience to bring out the best in our squad,’’ Wa All Stars General Manager Seth Panwum said.

"We have a great squad and we believe Corbblah can allow them to flourish and enjoy a strong, exciting finish to the season."

Corbblah has had premiership stints with Heart of Lions and Sporting Mirren.

Abubakari Sokpari, who was previously in-charge of the reserve team, will assist him.

Sokpari took temporary charge in All Stars’ 3-0 win over Hearts of Oak on the final day of the first round.
