Ebusua Dwarfs coach JE Sarpong says he will ONLY renew his contract with the club if Nana Aidoo stays on as the clubââ¬â¢s Chief Executive.
The future of the clubââ¬â¢s chief financier is unknown following their demotion to the countryââ¬â¢s second-tier League.
Media reports have suggested the astute businessman is tossing with the idea of quitting the club after the players let him down during the relegation battle.
Sarpong was appointed in March in a short-term basis as Professor JK Mintahââ¬â¢s successor but failed to guide the side to safety.
The veteran trainer has revealed he will ONLY agree to extend his contract à if the clubââ¬â¢s Chief Executive stays on.
ââ¬ÅI donââ¬â¢t think I will be leaving the club. But my stay depends on a number of factors,â⬠he said
ââ¬ÅKey among them is Nana Aidoo à staying on as Chief Executive. That is the only way I will agree to stay on.
ââ¬ÅIf Nana decides to quit the club, I will be next to follow suit. That man is an amazing human being and will love to work for him at Dwarfs.
ââ¬ÅBut if he jumps the ship, I will be the next person to follow suit.ââ¬
Dwarfs will begin life in the countryââ¬â¢s second tier League next season after a difficult spell saw them being demoted.
