Jeffrey Sarpong joins Real Sociedad

Sarpong hopes to make the grades at Real Sociedad

Would-be Ghanaian Jeffrey Sarpong has agreed a three-year deal with Spanish side Real Sociedad from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old midfielder impressed in the second half of last season while on loan at NEC Nijmegen, where he made 15 appearances.

Sarpong has already represented the Netherlands as a junior international but has stated his intention to switch allegiance to play for the country of birth of his parents.

Do some thourough research & find out more about switches these guys i believe shouldn’t be rushed into the senoir level, the need some few more years to mature, WATS THE RUSH FOR? Remember how Ghanaians rushed players like Owusu Afriyie(Beyie), Daniel Addo, Nii Odartey Lamptey,? What did it merit mother ghana,? NOTHING BUT EARLY RETIREMENT OF PLAYERS!
